David Tennant and Billie Piper are returning to Doctor Who to reprise their roles as the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler.
But before you get excited, they won’t be on screen – they’re recording for three audio episodes called Part of Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Adventures - Volume 2.
Tennant portrayed the Doctor from 2005 until 2009, while Piper played Rose in 2005 and 2006, returning for other stories in 2008.
Due to be released in November, the episodes will see the pair come together for the first time since the 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor, featuring Matt Smith and Sir John Hurt in 2013.
BBC executive producer Jason Haigh-Ellery said: "Getting David and Billie back together was definitely on my bucket list."
The first episode is titled Infamy of the Zaross by John Dorney, the second is Sword of the Chevalier by Guy Adams, and the third is Cold Vengeance by Matt Fitton.
Expect alien invasions, time travel to 1791, and frozen food asteroids in deep space.
Nicholas Briggs, aka the voice of the Daleks, said: "It was such a special time for me, working with Billie and David on the TV show and it is such an honour to revisit it with them on audio."
