Corrie killer Rob Donovan moves up the odds table in soap whodunnit
Friday 21st April 2017

Coronation Street fans are rushing out to place bets on killer Rob Donovan being the one who pushed Ken Barlow down the stairs after he made a dramatic return on Wednesday.

He is currently 5/1 fourth favourite in the list of suspects, behind odds on favourite Daniel Osbourne (8/15), Denise Osbourne (6/4) and Amy Barlow (4/1).

Rob, played by Marc Baylis, is back on the cobbles and appears to be on the run after more than a year away while serving time for the murder of Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan).

Viewers were shocked to find Rob being harboured in the disused gym by his ex Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) in the final scene of the episode, with many now speculating that he will be unmasked as the person who pushed Ken (Bill Roache) down the stairs.

Also in the running are Chloe Tipton and Simon Barlow (each 16/1), Adam Barlow (40/1), Sinead Tinker and Toyah Battersby (each 50/1), Beth Sutherland, Pat Phelan, Peter Barlow and Seb Franklin (each 66/1), and Tracy Barlow (80/1).

It’s top secret as to how long Rob will be back for, but Baylis has revealed he is not back for good despite feeling “awesome” that his character is back on the scene.

He said: "The first scene back on set you do feel the pressure again, there is a bit of trepidation.

"Within two seconds, bang, you are straight back into it. It's like you never left."
